Death - A Mystery

The corpse lay underneath
the picnic table
on a bright, sunny
May day.
Five people
stood in line
by the house.
The police arrived
with handcuffs.
The Captain shouted,
"Who killed him!".
The first person said,
"I'm innocent!"
The second person said,
"I'm not guilty!".
The third person said,
"I didn't do it!".
The fourth person said,
"I don't know!".
The fifth person said,
"I know who did it.".
The Captain shouted,
"Who!".
The fifth person said,
"You.".
The police put
the handcuffs 
on the Captain 
and drove away.
